Going to look at an 06 ss/sc .... anything I should know?
Im going to check out an 06 ss/sc with about 76,000 miles its priced at $10,900. I can tell from the pics that it is missing the front lip and it has ingalls, cai, and a nice indash unit. This car is for sale at a local used car lot so I want to know what I should be looking out for since this would be my first ss.
How can I tell if it has g85?
Whats a good price for this car?
Can you tell if its stage 2 just by the pulley size?
Is there any other special things I should look out for?
Im gonna drive the wifes mini van in and try and play dumb and see if I can bring that price down a little! so I need your help guys!
heres a link to the car....

It will have Recaros if it has LSD. But to make sure 100%, look for the option G85.
Price, between 8500-10,000. May be more towards 10k at a dealer.
The pulley will have 4 blue screws if it's stage 2. (i think. I never had GM stage 2. But the stock pulley is pressed on. after market will have either 4 or 5 screws)

I thought the price sounded a little high.... but im hoping I can point out the flaws and walk away with a decent price. if not then oh well... I still got the ls! haha

I just bought an '07 still under factory warranty with 71,000 miles for $10,500 from a member here. I thought the price was fair because I not only have 10 months of warranty left, I have the dealer invoice for the Stage 2 upgrade and the original window sticker, and it's a G85 car with sunroof, pioneer system, tasteful aftermarket wheels, etc.
I would say that you can find a nicer car for that price if you keep looking. The thing that kills it for me is it looks abused from looking at the front bumper and the chin spoiler being gone. Plus I'm always wary about buying from one of those small used lots anyways... Never know who's problem you're buying

No recars so most likly no lsd.
The SC Pulley looked abit smaller but hard to tell from the pic.
Couldn't see the injectors.
Intake is obvious.
The stereo is aftermarket.
Dont know what kind it is, but I want one of those!!!
If its got GPS nav in it, the stereo alone could be upwards of 1200 bux.

Oh, I forgot! Type the VIN in here, and you can get all of the options and detail on the car
Comprehensive Chevrolet, Saturn, GMC, Hummer, Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Geo, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, Chrysler, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda Truck, Mercedes VIN Decoder
Just don't pay attention to the "rarity"
