isn't the top of 4th gear like 125?

 

no its more like 130 ish, I only took it up there a couple of times but i wasn't looking at my speedo.

 

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS 2.2L 4 Cylinder 5spd Manual Transmission. Power Windows, Locks, Seats, and Roof. A/C, ABS, Cruise Control, CD Player, Alloy Wheels, Rear Window Defroster, Tinted Windows, Leather Seats, Sunroof, Keyless Entry, Alarm System, 5yr/70k Mile Warranty, Garaged, Non-Smoker, Original Owner, Service Records Available. I will add the GPS system and DVD system for it and Ill have it installed for FREE. It has a Pioneer stereo system as it came in factory. Ive had a stage three computer chip put in it. I also have had the supercharger honed out and had a bigger fan put in it. The car its self is pushing around 305hp for a four cylinder. I have yellow lights that go under it. Ive had the car on the drag strip 1 time and it will run 145mph in 4th gear and its a 5 speed. The windows are all tinted and it has 6in down on the windshield

4th gear does run somewhere above 140. Not quite 145, but it is close.

I am still trying to figure out why he needs 4 gears in the 1/4? I mean, I am running the stage 2 and I finish the 1/4 just as I am shifting to third and trap around 96-100mph. Even when I was completely stock I was just shifting to third as finishing and trapping maybe 3 or 4 mph lower... What a turd.

I was kind of hoping more people would call the guy and post the story of how the phone call went.

 

I shift out of 2nd at around 72-73 mph @6900-7000 RPM . Do you run a higher limiter or something?

Hell, I'll sell my car for 20K and I know I've got more than that in it, including the price of the car. The doors alone were 3K.

 

obviously he had the motor bored out to a 2.2. And the new fan in the supercharged cools it internally. The stage 3 chip he pulled from an obd1 computer. All of this equals 305 hp, how do you guys not see this
