I have put a lot of time and money in to the cobalt SS and I am still amazed everyday on it performance. I have yet to have this set up to the track for times and thats what i'm here for. What do you guys think this set up is able two do?

1.GM stage 2(belt, pulley, injectors, reflash)
2.GM stage 3(smaller pulley,gm racing ecm, 2pass endplate, optionB)
3.Intense suspension pack
4.GM honed headers
5.ZZP custom dp 2.5(high flow)
6.K&N Typhoon Intake
7.GM catback touring 2.5
8.Exedy hypersingle clutch and flywheel
9.Royal Purple fluids
10.EBC rotors
11.Hawk brake pads

ditch the gm headers/exhaust....I'm considering the vibrant header/dp combo mated with either a magnaflow or borla (they are about the same price now) depending on which sound i prefer....i've heard good and bad about the gm headers....and the exhaust i didnt know they had a 2.5 exhaust?

 

is it only 2.25 for the GM touring exhausts

 

with that set-up and good driver on street tires u can pull out a 13.4-13.9

 

thats what i thought ruffly what it would do. This set up is nice it pulls hard. I shock everyone that rides with me. Dont forget about the adjustable rev limiter 8000 rpms and octane mode with cam2 fuel good difference in the way the tires peel love it

 

Number 4 and 7 are garbage

 

Why go with borla if you don't like GMPP exhuast? There the same thing. That setup must sound nice , i really like the way the touring sounds .

 

i agree 4 and 7 are the only ones i've second guessed.
