Goodbye old Cobalt, hello 08 T/C model?
I haven't even started yet with my 'Balt, much less being "done" with it.
High performance RWD vehicles are terrible in snow (even WITH traction control/snow tires). FWD is a good compromise between single season only RWD and the overly expensive, weight adding, money wasting AWD.
4000 lb. G8/GT divided by 362 hp = 11.049 lbs/hp
So my 'Balt needs 265hp to have the same lbs/hp ratio.
That would translate into a Stage 2 + exhaust/tune. Seeing how I got a $2500 rebate on my SS/SC (paid $19.5k for it), I can match the G8 in speed for a tad over 20k.
Needless to say then, no G8 will ever appear in my future unless they offer a $10,000 rebate. Ha Ha!
GeeEight=Overweight

I wanted a SRT-4 Neon before I got my Balt, but my parents said it was "too fast." Then I wanted a SS/SC, & my parents still said it was "too fast." So, I got "stuck" with my 2.4 I my car, but I want to be FI. I also don't want to spend 4 grand +, just to get a turbo & not have much of a warranty left, I would much rather buy a turboed one from GM.
So SS/TC here I come!

Lol. They won't this time, b/c I'm paying $200 towards my insurance this time & I am over 18 (I'm 19) now... But I still live @ home, so I have to follow some rules. I have been saving up for the SS/TC since I heard about it.
I normally buy somehting for my car every month, I haven't bought anything since November....
