yea so i got an estimate to get car fixed $1,130 new fender and repaired door not too bad besides the $500 de-ductable which sucks but hey worse **** coulda happened.

 

get the fenders from cobalt addication insurance will write the check you can get your owne fenders have shop paint ans install

 

yah i hear yah i just wrecked my beater on the way to work this morning and to think i thought aboiut driving my SS, it makes me sick to my stomach.

 

yes an accident or damage is sometimes not all that bad...you pay your deductible, get a check and can go get aftermarket parts. I was rearended in the cavalier a year ago and my hood was dented because i was pushed into another car....i got around 3 grand...at the time had already had aftermarket parts sitting in the shop so i got a CF hood and was going to have the kit installed on the cavi but bought the cobalt and just held on to the money and did minor repairs on the rear bumper.

 

yea idk jus so upset about it right now... atleast its driveable

 

well memorial day weekend is jus 2 weeks away and i planned on driving it down... hopefully it will be fixed by then... cause insurance sucks and they take forever

 

man i got my whole bumper ripped off and had to replace a fender the same one u did and it only cost me 2000 but i guess u have to pay the deductable regardless so w/e

 

since you're in jersey I'll recommend you another shop. The name is Pride auto body and it's on amboy avenue in edison/metuchen...tryi looking them up. they usually ALWAYS quote cheaper and do great work.

 

yea $500 de-ductable i just wish the insurance was faster cause the body shop said 3 days to fix after parts are in his hands... so if i want to drive down the shore it needs to be in his hands by weds.
