Got a letter from GM...

I just got a letter from GM (said it was from Saturn). Anyone else get one of these? Basically saying they're extending the warranty on my power steering assist control module to 10 years or 150,000 miles. I've never had a problem with my power steering.

I've seen the ones where they remind you it's about to expire. Not that it matters to me lol. Never seen one that said they were extending the warranty on something.

I've read it three times over now to make sure I was right. it's being extended but only on that one specific part.

Heads up, I had my power stearing fail on me. Go into the dealership and get it fixed. took less than an hour and it was free. Trust me you dont want it to fail when you are going around a sharp corner at 60....
Just saying: get it done.

Trust me, even getting it done isn't enough. Something else needs to be figured out for this.

Try it failing while midway through corner 6 of Road America. That's no fun.

The letter doesn't say anything about a recall just that I should bring it in if I experience problems with it.
