Unknown switch

Ok so i have a chipped switch in my driver side drop down panel and i have no clue what its for. it rotates but i see or feel no difference in anything when turned.

The trunk button doesn't rotate though. That was my first thought too.

But above that is the turn knob for the dash/radio lights. Only button that turns that I can think of

unless its broken. lol. thats the only switch there.

Did you buy this car used? If so it could have been hooked to some stereo equipment, add-on interior lights, a myriad of things. Probably isn't even hooked up anymore.

The place i took my car to get my radio put in last time put one for my radio in there, had no idea what it went to for a while lol. Just follow the wires if there are any.
