Got problem! NEED HELP

need to figure out how to get into my trunk as i have recently taken it out fo storage and when i put it in i left the trunk slightly open but when the moved it to get other cars out the closed it not knowing that the cars battery was in the back, when i bought the car used it only came with a ignition key, so my key doesnt open the doors or trunk so thats out. The guys afraid he doesnt know what cables are disconnected from the battery so he doesnt want to jump it from the power post and short or fire something. So what5 are my optins here thinking bout drilling out the lock as i cant use it anyways but dont know how its done. any other ideas will be consider or adives. Damn cobalts and having everything in the trunk, even the seat release

A good locksmith can pick it for you.

If the ignition has been changed that wouldn't be true.

Withount the battery connected jump point won't work. Battery closes the loop.
Find the power cable.

^I would think if you try hard enough or find someone you can reach through, by far the simplest solution

A) The actual trunk pop button in the car is the simple solution, if you are inside the car.

Which leads to:

2) He can't get in the car, period. A good locksmith should be able to get you in the car, and then just pop the trunk with the release button.

I would assume he has access to the inside of the car, because he mentioned that he can get at the power post. The power post is under the hood, and the hood unlock is inside the car.

Gotta love ppl giving out the wrong info

Just hook up some jumper cables to the red post under the hood by the fusebox and a ground
Go inside the car and pop the trunk with the lil button

I'm pretty sure he can't get in the car, so jumping it with the power post is still out. He said his key won't open the doors or trunk. If he could get into the car, he wouldn't be asking about drilling out the lock on the trunk.

If he can get to the post he can get in the car, he just doesn't want to use the post. He is talking about drilling out the trunk lock
