I'm such an old thread creeper. OP you should really just keep your current car and save/get that cleaner driving record/credit back. It will suck for the mean time but in 2 years you could be pimping a low mileage SSTC

 

This. I just paid off most off of my debt. All I owe on is the car and my house and it feels good. Good credit and minimal debt can only help you.

 

Thanks guys for all the info I'm going to focus on getting better credit and all that but I'm going to finish on what I started on my lt I've already started the ss body conversion
