Govt Investigating Steering Failures

Hmmmm, maybe some light at the end of the tunnel for those who have issues with the power steering failing.......

Bloomberg Article

Of course, given the speed government works at, we may all be retired by the time anything happens

... and this is y GM is going under, bc they skimp on the parts and have to build every single car they produce twice, once at th plant, and once at the dealership when you bring it in for faulty parts

I dont notice anything wrong with my steering so far BUT once the recall takes place im taking my **** to Robbins fuckfaceshit and making them do at least ONE goddamn warranty on my ******* car.

Brakes seem hazardous too cant wait for that recall..

And at least its not an accelerator problem like the all mighty toyota. Goes to show every car manufacturer has its faults...

Well it's not only GM with issues. We all know about Toyota recalling and stopping production on nearly every single vehicle and there was also a recent recall by Chrysler on a number of vehicles who have the potential for brake failure at what I understood as alarming rates. Shitty designs from the manufacturers is the problem, skimp on cost and deal with the consequences later. Anyone find it odd the report specifically points out only the 2008-2009 SS models. Are the 05-07 SS models exempt from this?

PRobably trying to minimise the size of recall.
THey think if you have something older then an 08 you should/need tobuy new
