tow hook goes to the bottom of the bumper. Heat exchanger goes behind the bumper, doesn't it?

I have an intercooler, it goes under the bumper too, but low enough that the tow hook fit.

the tow hook attaches to the underneath of the crash bumper, where you put the holes is your call, but it would be silly to place the hook plate so that it goes behind the crash bumper, as the hook would be too far back. There are how tos on our web site iirc.

the fmic or intercooler on all cobalts and ion redlines sits behind the crash bumper so the hook plate may be close, but no closer than the trailing edge of the crash bumper
hope this helps
