head rest removal?

I have an 05 ss/sc. how the F do the front head rests come off. I want to install the MRZ seat back inserts. nothing in the service manual or in the on-line search. Should be simple, right? I depress the button that moves the head rest up and down but they don't come out. Its sort of locked in. any help??

Lift the plastic pieces covering where the posts enter the seatback. Squeeze both of them and walah, should come out.

Mine has a hole that you have to stick a pin in while squeezing the button.
