Header/dp install help/question

For those of you guys who have installed your header/dp were there any issues that I should know about before installing it? I'm thinking about doing it tonight and I just figured I'd ask. And I'm doing it with the Vibrant set-up and I was wondering if I needed a new gasket for the header or if I can just use the stock one. Also, how long did it take everyone?

The stock one will be fine. It is a pain in the ass getting the header bolts on/off. It took me about 3 hours to do mine.

Okay that gasket was my biggest concern. If it took you three hours, it'll probably take me like 6 haha

Wasn't bad at all. Only thing that was a bitch for me was getting the stock header to dp bolts off, they were all rusted. hopefully you have air tools, makes it a lot easier.

first time it may take a while, but just take your time it's not that hard. i can do a full exhaust with just hand tools in about 3 hours. air tools would be a LOT less than that some of the bolts are a bitch to get to, make sure you have different size extensions handy

I've got the extensions and everything handy. I'm just gonna have to rely on muscle to do the work though haha.

header to manifold bolts shouldn't be bad at all. they only torque to 10 ft/lbs. from under the car if you can get some leverage the downpipe bolts shouldn't be bad at all, especially if you have a breaker bar.

So I went to go work on it but I didn't have the right size tool to get the O2 sensor off the d/p. I guess I'll just have to wait for tomorrow haha

it's way easier to just disonnect the sensor (leave the 02 screwed in to the pipe) and use an adjustable wrench with the pipe off the car.
