I did a search and dont see a how too on the manifold or header install, I know its somewhat simple, but does anyone have pics of what to do or a link?

 

the heat shields come off first. i believe 4 bolts. there are three bolts on the downpipe flange and 10 bolts on the header. undo the 3 first, then the header. drop it down under the car, then feed the new one up. Most or all of the bolts can be reached from on top. Just use a socket and a ratchet. It took me about 2.5 hours, and I never have done anything like it before.

 

Yeah you are going to need a lift. And belive it or not, there's actually a pattern of which bolts to tighten first. Also, I belive they need to be tightened 124 kg/in.

 

Alright thanks for the help, if anyone else has info that would be great. I am taking it in on saturday to a muffler shop, i have a crap load of stuff taht needs to be done and is just sitting in my trunk: manifold, xtc downpipe, corsa sport, baer rotors, hawk pads, eichback prokit, dc sport strutbar. I could do some of it myself but figured it would be easy just to take it in and get it all done in one job, considering i cant get work off, and dont have a lift. Hopefully this place will be willing to do the manifold work, if not should i wait to put on the downpipe and catback until the header is installed?

 

since when do you need a lift to do a header install?
