Header w/o an Aftermarket DP?
I've got a Pacesetter Header for my 2.4L cobalt, but its just the header there is no downpipe... i was wondering what the performance/sound difference would be with it if i just replace the header and keep the stock downpipe...
I'm running a full 2.5" Cat-back to begin with

I don't know any exact numbers, but there is going to be a significant difference in not replacing the DP as well. The stock downpipe is the most restrictive piece in the exhaust, so in my opinion it should be the first thing to be changed.

I have the pacesetter and stock downpipe. You will have to modify the dp for that header. I think it sounds really good with the stock cat and dp. I've got the GM Touring as well. But yes, you will make more power with a full 2.5" dp... where the 02 sensor is, it gets really small... not sure on the numbers tho...
