Headlight question
I'm about to order some aftermarket headlights for my car and it gives the option for two different bulbs and I don't understand what the difference is. It gives the option for either a H7 55W Artic white bulb or a H7 70W Artic white bulb. Which one do I need to order? Thanks

They're from modern performance. They are DEPO projectors. part number 243702. I don't know what the difference in the HIDs and regular lights are. If they're a better option for headlights show me the way lol. The only reason im changing is because I hit a deer a while back and it busted the side marker out of the headlight and I figured I might as well go aftermarket. Thanks

So HIDs don't have anything to do with the housing just the bulbs. These are definately the housings i want then. What bulbs should I order with them for now. The 55 or the 70s. Another set I looked at had a 80 option instead of 70. thanks

Get the 55w. OEM halogen lights are 55w. Personally I would not feel safe running 70w halogen bulbs in those. If you decide to go the hid route, get an h7 hid kit, with whatever bulb temp you want, and get a relay harness. and those headlights should already come with bulbs, I think the option for the artic whites are just for different bulbs. There should be a standard bulb that is included with those at no extra cost.

If the group buy is still going on, you can buy a set of OEM style headlights with the HID projectors pre-installed. I was going to go this route but I went with the DIY kit instead.
