I am looking to get the halo projector headlights for my 06 SS/SC. Any info on what kind to get or which ones are better?

Appearance section has a LOT of info on this.

1st gen - Nice, tend to have clear coat peeling issues. Not plug and play. Requires some wiring. LED halos.

2nd gen - Nicer. Mine got stress cracks in the lenses. (cheap plastic..). Fully plug and play. CCFL technology. Some have good luck with them and no problems. Others have bad luck like myself.

3rd gen - Nice. Not fully plug and play. Requires some wiring. CCFL technology.

I have 2nd gen. I love the look of the lights!!! The light bar on the top went out within a few days (that's OK I hated that thing anyway). The cutoff in the projectors sucked!!! I took the headlight apart and retrofitted projectors and HID's from a Lexus...
