READ THIS ! Post in the Correct Section ! READ THIS READ THIS ! NOW!
ZOMG, what is with this section!!
We have specific technical discussion sections for a reason; the General Cobalt section is like a plague... In case you weren’t aware we have lots of specific sections to ask questions in, stop posting them in here!
Drivetrain - Transmission, LSD, Clutch, Driveline, Axles...
Suspension - Springs, Shocks, Brakes
Appearance - Body Kits, Hoods, Wheels, Spoilers, Interiors
Wheels and Tires - All about wheels and tires.
Show & Shine - Detailing, washing, waxing, paint care, wax, etc.
Electronics, Audio, and Video - All Audio, Video, Alarms, and all other electronics
Don't forget the Engine Specific sections either...
First, before you even start a new thread use the search tool, here are some tips on getting better results: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/site-development-help-44/how-using-search-tool-79121/
Examples of what NOT to post in the General Cobalt section...
Questions about Projectors/Headlights - Post this in Appearance
Questions about Stage Kits - Post in the 2.0 section (...actually search first, I'm sure it's been answered)
"Wanting to run these tires." - Post in the Wheels and Tires section
"MRZ Performance Shopping Spree" - Post in the Appearance Section
"Eyelids idea... thoughts? (pics)" - Post in the Appearance Section
"Turtle Wax Ice?" - Post in the Show & Shine Section
"2008 2.2 oil filter" - Post in the 2.2 Section
Question about Injectors - Post in the 2.0 Section
"2007 DRL wiring schematic?" - Post in the Electronics, Audio, and Video
Question about ZZP Header/DP combo - Post in the ZZP Section
Thread about a Local Meet - Post in the correct Regional Section
"New Car Pics" - Post in the Pictures and Video section
Questions about HPTuners/Tuning Software - Post in the Tuning Section
Questions about springs/lowering cars - Post in the Suspension Section
This is just a sample of the 100's of threads that haven't been moved already because they were in the wrong section...
Seriously, stop using the General Cobalt as your "IDK where it goes or I want more views" section, post in the correct section, that way when people go looking for something with the search tool it's in the correct section.

Sorry if I quoted one of your thread titles, I just went thru the first couple pages and picked threads that stood out to me...

ROFL, how to's about forum procedures never work in the how-to section.. I've tried before, plus this section is by far the worst about threads being in the wrong section...

I searched and cant find anything on my blinker fluid, is it synthetic? I hear it gives more horsepower. If it isnt would it hurt to run synthetic? What about the muffler bearings? I think I need a new one since the ss/sc header seems to be straining the stock one. can I post that in the GC section?

This applies to the rest of the forum sections too, just because you drive a 2.2, 2.4 or a 2.0 doesn't mean every question belongs there; those sections are reserved for Engine/Performance threads.

Threads that have to do with the car, but don't really apply to a specific section, such as

Help and support is for site help & support, #2 is a national meet covering multiple regions, and #4 he also asks questions about different cobalts/trims/etc.
