headlights wont turn off...

headlights wont turn off...

ok guys my headlights arent turinng off...they caused my battery to die last night... can some one help me out i have the switch to the off position nothing else is turned on in the car....can someone tell me where the headlight fuse is so i cna unplug it untill i can get to a dealer??

The fuse should be labeled.... Or you could just take out the headlight & unplug the harness.

well is the fuse in the fusebox under the hood or in the dash?? and to take the headlights off i just unplug those 2 screws on top right??

Yes, the fusebox is under the hood. And yes, you take out the two screws, then you have to take out the headlight, & unplug the harness from the car & headlight.

wow that would be a real PITA to have to take out yout light everytime you get out of the car... just take the fuse out and replace it when you drive the fuse should be under the hood but your owners manual will be able to tell you this for sure

Look under the hood and on the drivers side of the engine bay there is a littpe black box with a red plug ontop, there is your fuse box, in the lid is the wiring diagram.

lol inew where the fusebox was at...just didnt know if the fuse for the headlights were in the engine fusebox or the fuse box in the center console
