Heated mirrors?

Hi All!

Does anyone know if there are Cobalts with heated mirrors?
If yes It would be great to change mirror glass elements for heated and connect them to defogger.
I am tired of my all-time wet or frozen mirrors...

Thanks

I'm also tired of frozen mirrors! I had heated mirrors on previous Chevrolet units..... seems like Heated Mirrors should have been an option..... after market option?

loved the heated mirrors in my dad's 2000 monte carlo ss. if they had an option on the cobalt for them i definatly wouldn't have got them. i too hate the frozen mirrors. also hate when they get a little water on them cause it kills all rearward vision for me.

What wouldn't I give for heated mirrors and seats!!! Winter sucks when you have to get in an icy cold car with leather seats and drive for 30minutes to get to work and do the same thing to get home again.

Anyone know where I can get heated seats??

I wish my 06 had the g85 package. I would love to find one that was wrecked and get that package from it.

the ones out of a 07 wont work in the 06/05's u'll need to buy a kit, and install it in the seat, hit up inside out, or auto renew and see what they say, also........ to install a g85 package on a non g85 car is a total bitch....... u have to drop the tranny to install the LSD.

I wouldn't care about dropping the tranny that much, I have a few buddies that could help me out there.

Inside out & Auto Renew..... can I find them on the web?

Those look like they are replacements for a vehicle that has heated mirrors already.

this is from there site.......(redi HeatŽ heating elements replace a broken OEM heating grid, or can be used to create a heated application where none existed.)

It's weird that even LTZs have no heated mirrors.
I just reviewed GM EPC... So, there are only two part numbers: 15144660 for left mirror glass and 15144662 for right. All the same for power and for manual mirrors, for 4dr and for 2dr Cobalts.
I always thought that if the mirror is electrically operated so it naturally should be heated...

Of course there are aftermarket solutions, but as for me it better to try to find an OEM first.

P.S. it's not a problem to get OEM heated mirror glasses for Aveo.

The Aveo has heated mirrors? If you can get a part number for the heating system I just might try and adapt it to the cobalt.

You can use the heated mirrors that come with the Chev Impala LTZ. They are the same size and style as the ones on the Cobalts. Only they are heated. You can order these from the GM parts department. Then you can connect them to your rear defogger as mentioned in this post. This is what I am planning on doing.
