Heating up engine in cold weather

i drive as soon as I can see (as long as i can see blurry objects im fine haha)....although it sucks that by the time im starting to get heat through the vents im already where i wanna go....

I'm not trying to argue physics with you, im just saying, statistically, since then the engine coolant meter rises at a faster rate after startup, and the car is already producing interior heat after 1 mile of use or less

its not to cold out yet so once it hit 80 im off but once it starts getting below freezing than i get it till past 100

Once its above 50 F I drive and try to keep it under 2 grand, emphesis on try. Once it gets to 160 F drive normally, usually under 3 grand.
