Hello, my name is Charlotte.
Lol, many many SC's including myself would lay the smackdown on your stock TC.
And as was said earlier, you can just as easily aquire a racing ticket from any police officer that happens to spot you racing on the street with his radar off.
Whats with the ignorance?

A stock LNF is not all that special. There are plenty of LSJ on this site that would smoke a stock LNF on any road course, turns and all. I ran a few stock LNF with my 2005 SS/SC and I can tell you that they kept up till about 70 mph then they started to slowly disappear into the rearview mirror. My 2005 SS/SC was not heavily modified either.
Oh RLY? Have you road raced an SS/SC? LOL Those terrible LSJ brakes never gave me half the problems my SS/TC have...... plus they stop 60-0 just as fast . I've had both and while the TC does handle a little better ...... a good driver in an LSJ vs an average driver in an LNF is going to even it out everytime.
Hi, I am new to the community and just bought my 2010 Cobalt SS (rather my husband bought it for me) we are driving to that general area in two weeks for a DSM/Evo meet, and would gladly pit his Evo against your SS, of course at a legal track (there are plenty in Charlotte). His 2006 Evo is putting down 343 AWHP, and we are going to do some runs on the 1/4 to check is ETs. I will be running my Colbalt as well and going to learn the NLS as well.
I didn't want my entrance to the community this way, but it seems someone needs a lesson in humility, hopefully the rest of the community isn't like this.
My future mods will be the basic bolt ons, intake, exhaust, and tune. I would also like to know what great mfgs out there that support the SS. The Evo's have great aftermarket support and having a Colbalt is 180 degrees from a Evo, but for the price you can't get anything as fast brand new. PM me for dates.

I guess i don't get the newbie chest thumping going on here.
Who are you refering to ? And why bring up an EVO ? Did i miss something or weren't we talking about Cobalts? Ofcourse a 340 WHP evo is going to be hard to beat in the 1/4 due to their AWD 60 foot's but on a roadcourse...... a well tuned and bolted LNF should be able to keep it close.

I am sorry I guess he was bragging about his NLS abilites and wants to show off, stock vs stock? On a track I doubt it won't do much in helping, but comparing a 35k+ car to a -/+ $25k car isn't exactly fair, though its 4 years older, and Mitsubishi has let most of that tech go, and Chevy should be leaps and bounds over the VIII and XI by now, even with the Cobalt SS.
i found a video of the op! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRY_t6GEOB4
well the police officer must have both cars pulled over in order to give a street racing ticket, and come on, whose dumb enough to have both cars pull over. but thn again you'd get a hefty speeding ticket, which will take ur lic. just not as quickly
