Yes, it will 'physically bolt in'

No, you shouldn't do it. Unless you're rich as hell

There are like 6.2 million threads on this btw

^ this.

You need not just the engine, transmission, and sundry smaller pieces, but the wiring harness and computer too.

So, yes, it will physically bolt in, but there's a lot more to it than that.

you would also need mounts, some sort of intake, axles, not sure if hubs would work or not. there isa big list. you really need to buy a wrecked SS from 05-06. im not sure if 07 would have different connectors as the Cobalt went to the LAN connections in 07

mounts are different. The base Cobalts used a Getrag F23 manual transmission, whereas the SS used a 20 year old Saab designed F35 manual transmission. different mounts, and axles are a must. Spindles should be fine. Only the LNF spindles are different. The intake for an 07 will work, but not the computer or harness. computer and harness would have to be from a 2005-2006 as they changed the interior wiring harness in 2007.

if you have to ask questions like this, showing you aren't experienced in this type of thing, you should not be attempting this.

The PCM is what we mean, yes.

Basically, you're going to gut the car and replace everything. It's a tall job. Thing to do is find a wrecked SS and transplant it all into your LS.

It would be a whole lot easier and less expensive to replace your transmission and then turbo your car.

Just don't do it. Youre obviously not skilled enough to do it at this point
