Help Help Brakes

i took off my brake calibers, now im putting them back on and the round cilinder that pushes against the brake pades will not go back in to the caliber. i cant get the caliber over the brake pades. HELP HELP FAST ITS GETTING DARK!!!

Ugh. Take a C clamp and squeeze the piston all the way back then slide the CALIPER over the rotor and pads. You have to take the cap off the brake fluid reservoir ( under the hood ). And if that doesn't work you may have to remove the little plug on the CALIPER to let the pressure out of the piston.

rule number one dont mess with **** you know nothing about.

take one of your pads and put it up against your piston. put a large c clamp on the pad and back of caliper. turn the c clamp til the piston is flush with the outside of caliper. put pads in and replace the caliper. before you drive anywhere pump the **** out of your brakes. and if you do the rear calipers....have fun because you will be renting a tool from auto zone unless u know someone

Thanks I suck at explaining stuff. I seriously hope you have disc brakes in the rear. Painting drum brake looks st00pid.

hey thanks guys actually it was for my friends 2.2. Ive taken them off millions of times but its never happened where i couldnt just slid them back on. and no we didnt paint his rear drums... were from cobaltss.net NOT hondaforums.net... But again thanks guys all is well now.
