HELP ME! i gotta question!

so i wanted to upgrade the supercharger. but idk what size pulley and belt to get. basically all i got in the car right now is a stage 2 clutch and a k&n cold air. my next thing to do in the car was just the supercharger. trying to take a lower priced improvement as of right now. help me out!

it would be easier for you to buy a staged kit from a company. that way you get the pulley belt injectors and a canned tune. that will get you pretty close, then just get a custom tune

And if you piece it together I'd do 2.9 pulley, stage 2 belt, 42lb injectors, and tune

i would do at least 60's. that way you can change pulleys without having to change injectors

If I could do it again I would have bought ZZP's stage 3 kit with 60's and a 2.8. I wouldn't waste your money on GM stage 2 as all the supercharged cobalts are about out of warranty anyways.

I bought it as a whole kit and had the dealer install it. It is absolutely overpriced and not worth it but I was concerned about my warranty at the time. Just find a reputable tuner and you should never have to worry about retaining your warranty.

yeah buying it from gm and having them install is way overpriced, I piece mine together and got a custom tune and I love it.
