Help with my dilema!!!

Hey guys..

I'm about to purchase my Cobalt SS here in about a week, and I've narrowed it down to TWO that I need to decide between.

Black Exterior with BLUE Ebony Inserts on the Interior

OR

Blue Exterior with REGULAR (Black) Ebony Inserts on the Interior

I have yet to see the Blue color in person, and I have yet to see the blue inserts on a black in person.

Which do you guys think looks best? I can't decide! I'm going back and forth on "Ohhh the black will be so pretty when clean" and "Ohhh, the blue stands out so nice.."

HELP!

I would go with the blue exterior. It is the Arrival blue?

Arrival Blue will be discontinued after this year so you'll have a pretty rare car in years to come. Blue inserts on seats will be hard to sell on the secondary market, however, the black exterior would make an easier sell than the blue. You have to decide if you're keeping the car. I thought you were interested in the G85 option from the last thread you posted?? Doesn't appear that either one has it in this case. I personally would go with the blue exterior one!!

Yeah, not getting the G85 now

I dont know! The black looks so nice when it's cleaned up, and I've already had a blue car before. However, the blue is striking from what I've seen in pictures. I've also heard that pics don't do it justice...

Good point, the Arrival blue will make it more rare. Getting an Arrival blue with g85 would be even better.

I have Arrival Blue with an all black interior and I am glad I didn't get the blue inserts.

Between Arrival Blue or Black, I'd have to go with Arrival Blue

Both are nice, but I personally can't stand the constant maintenance you have to do with a black car to keep it looking nice. Seems like as soon as you wash and wax it, its dirty and scratched again Of course when you do take the time and effort, it looks awesome

As for Arrival Blue, its a very nice color. In bright light it looks like a metallic electric blue, yet in low light or from other angles it looks like a deeper, darker blue. Definitely one of the Cobalts nicest colors, too bad its being replaced by the purpeish Laser Blue for 2006

Blue inserts on seats will be hard to sell on the secondary market, however, the black exterior would make an easier sell than the blue.
Its hard to predict, but I can't say I agree with that. The color coded seat inserts are standard on the SS S/C, its not like they are some kind of tacky add-on accessory or something. I can't see a problem selling it considering the color coded interior matches the exterior color, if anything its a good selling point As for blue being harder to sell than black, that may very well be statistically true. I've heard that any non-mainstream color (Silver, Black, White) is always harder to sell - yellow being one of the hardest.

As you know, you like me are in Florida and the heat is brutal down here. Dark colors really attract the heat. My car is red but with black inside the heat us awful. Somehow someway I'm going to replace the seats to something lighter.

Yeah, it's been super hot lately!

You should tint the windows

For some reason, I'm leaning towards the only black one in the area that I just found out has the G85 package...lol. That's a whole nother story though
