TB Engine power reduced Dilema & Advice please

Ok so my car has been doing the Engine Power Reduce cause the tb sensor is fucked. So here the dilema i bought an ls4 tb for it. Do i need a tune when i install it or can i run it with the stock to? What would happen if i just install it and run like that? Would the car even run with it like that or no. Cause i'm getting really tired of the ERP code it doesn't do it all the time but it does it enough. Any advice would be really appreciated thanks and Merry Christmas

it will run BUT it may also go into limp mode. Did on my 2.2 when I was supercharging. I had a bad LSJ TB and had an LS4 laying around. Put it on and it started but went into limp mode.

I got a new LSJ TB from Crate Engine Depot for around $100 shipped (3 days).
