i am not sure about a video, but if you go to the "How to" there is a write up somewhere on how to do it.

i tint windows and the only advise i can give you is, keep them really wet, around curves use a heat gun or blow dryer, and take your time. oh and if this is your first time use a friend to help take the tint off the roll and to hold it up to the window, cause if the tint touchs its over

The best thing you can do is take it to a professional and make sure that they use tint made by 3M. It carries a lifetime warranty and will not turn purple or peel if applied properly. I got my entire car done for $150. Even though I manage a collision center and could have done it myself, it is not just worth the b.s. to me.

If you do the Back window you will have to use some type of adhesive on the dot matrix
stuff on the top of the glass.
I think the guys that did mine just used a glue stick that you use for paper other wise it wll peel there and get all bubbly.

Side windows are cake, but the back one is a PITA. I am 6'2" though so it is kinda hard to move around the back. I eventually went to have it done for 30 bucks. I got the tint from snaptint.com. Already cut and everything. What's sweet is if you ruin a piece you can reorder for 10 bucks a piece and change the tint% if you want.

I think you will save yourself some grief if you take it to a pro, the tint in the parts stores SUCKS, its thin and crappy and it will turn purple. But if you want to do it yourself, and get a projob, you will need, a good sprayer, a slip agent and water, a couple of rubber squegees, a teflon hardcard, some lint free paper towels, a razor scraper,an olfa blade knife and blades, some white 3m scotchbrite pads, and a heat gun. NOW ALL YOU NEED IS sOME PRO FILM, i wuld look into a precut set , this will save you some trouble. and pick a film that has a good warranty, IT DOES NOT HAVE TO bE 3M FILM either, the more you pay the better the film... Now,you have everything you need to do the job, now all you need is to do is just go for it.... But with all this, you probably will have paid enough that you could have got it done already, good luck!!!!!!!

get it done by a pro.. i hate seing nice cars with BAD tint jobs.. looks soo ghetto with bubbles and creases...trust me it will be a better investment.. and if ya wanna try tinting start with your head lights or something small like a visor strip
