I have a set of aftermarket Sparco pedals that are brushed aluminum with little rubber grip inserts on them. i've noticed when when its raining and/or my shoes are wet, my foot will slip off the clutch and/or brake pedal. A quick fix for the problem is cutting small pieces of skateboard grip-tape and applying it in the smooth spots. HUGE difference. this can also be done to improve the overall grip on all your pedals. Hope this helps others as it did for me.
