I've received a tracking number and pictures this morning. Estimated delivery is next friday, August 16 2013.

 

I was promised a tracking number last week, and haven't heard a thing. I have been on vacation, and just got back today. I will go pickup my held mail on Monday, if I have nothing and I don't hear anything I'm opening a claim as well.

Seems you already know, do not close the claim. Leave it open until you feel you have what is rightfully yours

yea, def not closing the claim until I have the part in my hands, at my house, and I'm thinking about checking it for leaks as well now.

 

whenever you open a paypal dispute, never close it until you receive the item. Once paypal is involved they will do the verification that the item is shipped out and you receive it. Otherwise if you close the dispute you cant reopen it. Closing the dispute is effectively saying you are satisfied with the outcome. Ive had alot of scammers in the past try to claim that they needed the paypal dispute to be closed in order to ship the item to "release the funds", ive never once dropped a dispute for that. 9 times out of 10 they never ship the item, and I just wind up getting my money back.

got a message today from him on the paypal resolution center about dropping the claim since I have a tracking number

I refused.

will not drop claim until I have the item in my hands.
I've been without my money for 3 weeks, he can wait 3 more days.

If I did that to a member and they posted a thread about me I would definitely post in it.

 

After everything is resolved with you guys he will be going on a long vacation from .net.

 

he posted and said he PM'd me to get teh heat off, he did, but i never got a tracking number or anything. now i have to wait 9 more days to get my money back.

well i recieved a PM from him with a few pics of the box and a tracking number, we shall see.... looks like it was crammed ina pretty small box.

Yeah that's horrible. Definitely a high chance of it getting cracked/damaged during transit.

 

I got my heat exchanger today.

I checked it for leaks, it seems ok.

packing job was questionable, but it made it through ok. I'm satisfied.


I dropped the paypal claim.

I understand things come up, but I've been selling parts on here for many years, and always maintained contact with the buyer no matter how busy I was.
