Hi all, just bought a new ( 07' ) balt...

well, i decided to trade my truck in on a new laser blue cobalt LT coupe last weekend, I think I got a good deal, options are - sport package, pwr w/l/m, remote start , has a light gray/ almost cream colored seats, unfortunatley the cheesy 15" wheels and hubcaps , cost me $13,900.. plus rolling over $4000 from my truck with $1800 down..payments are $50 mo. LESS than before..
I love the car so far, decent power, handles REALLY well, sporty looking and I love the color in the sunlight. getting the windows tinted this weekend..I'm thinking 10% in the rear little windows, and 25% up front, also getting K&N filter RE-0930 for airbox mod. that will be all til spring, keeping the stock crappy wheels and tires on for winter..spring will get 16" rims with some decent 215/50R16's and the computer reprogrammed, as well as front shock tower brace prob. from DC ...should be a fun ass little Daily driver that still gets 30 mpg!!!! just wanted to say hey

Nice choice! And welcome to the site! Even without modifying performance parts, some appearance changes wouldn't hurt at all...

thanks guys..I'm not going to go too far with the mods, my last performance car was a 95z28 that was in the mid 12's..so its kind of hard to justify dumping several hundreds of $$ into something that at best will run 14's (with header, exhaust, intake, reprogrammer, 50-75 shot, etc) the stuff i have planned will make it a real fun, cheap, good looking ride, that handles like a champ and puts a smile on my face going into work every day ..
