Huh?
It's as simple as putting the bulb in, and hooking up 2 wires.

Providing she got a plug and play setup. There are still a few splice and dice kits out there.

Are they 9007 HIDs? For stock headlights?
Or do you have some Projector headlights, using H1 HID bulbs?

They should be a plug and play, but it might be confusing, because they throw the ballast in there too. It should be as easy as fitting the right connectors to their respective parts (male/female).

In other words, they make them built one way only, so that you can't plug hids in without the ballasts.
Headlight harness > ballast harness > hid bulb.
You won't be able to screw it up like, Headlight harness >hid bulb ><ballast harness

Yes, he will have to remove the headlights.

Is this a two bulb HID, (HID low, halogen high)? or is it just an HID low (you won't have highs)? Or bi xenon HID (has a little roof that slides on the bulb)?

Hope this helps.
