Highly considering lemon lawing...

My car has been tot he dealer 5 times for the same thing in the past month and it doesnt seem to be getting fixed. Its at the dealer as we speak in fact. I'm highly considering lemon lawing this car...has anyone done this before or have any words of wisdom or what I should do...I guess i'm just looking for some real experences and tips other than what I can find on google. TIA.

that helps. my dad had an astrovan in for service on the compressor 13 times. it had 8 or 9 new compressors in it but they all kept short cycling. he lemon lawed it, they considered it paid off, took the van back, gave him a check for the price he paid. he whent out on the lot with a salesman and picked out a new one (with a few extras) handed them the check and sdaid here is how much i am going to pay and drove it home the same day.

it was really easy, fill out the paperwork, and just wait. Then he was contacted by chevy, and they told him to stop by the dealer. the rest was taken care of by them.

Here in Missouri, to lemon law, it has the be the exact same problem with the same fix and you have to have the car in the shop for a total of 4 weeks within a year's time.

the service air bag keeps coming on. Everytime they have put a new part in it and it doesnt fix it. Not to mention all the other things its been in for this year alone...i'm on a first name basis with my service writer and the people at enterprise.

R33P3R007...do you know who your dad had to talk to get the paperwork moving on it.
