Hitting the Nail on the Head, Finally!
Hitting the Nail on the Head, Finally!
Ya know, I'm hearing a lot of these complaints, "yea the SS/SC has power, but GM sure put in shitty plastics, crappy axles, poor clutch, bad exhaust etc.. etc..". Whenever I hear this I think about what the TOTAL OPPOSITE would be like:
So yea this car ROCKS! Check this dash, it's alcantara! How about the axles, these axles are good for 400 whp, the clutch is good for 600 HP! Oh how about the exhaust, its 3" straight back, sounds like sex!
Well how much power does it have?
Oh uhh 138 hp...
See what I mean? Power isn't just a "feature" or "attribute" of this car, it is the friggen' car! You can't talk about the shortcomings of the Cobalt without realizing that the pros outweigh the cons 10 to 1!
Do you think I've hit the nail on the head? Please add a link to this thread in your sig.

Lol, no it is not. Its might not be expensive, but that does not automatically label it economy; there is so much more which leans it away from economic and into what it should be called: a sport compact; it is exactly as it sounds. It's focus is on spirited "sport" driving, it's compact cause duh it's 2 doors and I bet ANYTHING that the fuel economy of this car was not GM's intentions, instead it was a terrific byproduct. I believe GM should have stressed the fuel economy of this car like no other, they would have sold many models and resulted in a lot more shitty grins on test drives!

The Cobalt isn't an economy car? Huh, does GM know that?
Remember OPTIONS do not change the cars BASE platform and in the case of the Cobalt I hate to break it to you but it is in fact an economy car.

What the **** is the topic? You just want us to sit here and stroke your ego and make you feel better about your car because some friends of yours say bad things about it?
The Cobalt isn't perfect. Deal with it. As long as you are happy with it who cares.
The last thing we need is a thread like this were a bunch of fanboys stroke each others penises about their hopped up economy car. Then we will have trolls on here going "see you cobalt owners are all **** because you think your cars the greatest."
Just get over it man, if people want to knock our car who cares.
