Seeing how it's the same engine as the Cobalt.

I just got a Redline 3 days ago. Love it!!! I'm sure the Cobalt will be a friggin' blast to drive as well.

I'm anxious for the Cobalt because maybe then, GM will start putting out some aftermarket stuff for us.

 

There's actually been a few threads where we tried to encourage Redline owners to come here. The more, the merrier...and yes, you do share the same platform. So welcome aboard and thanks for joining. I can't wait to see what this community blossoms into once people start tuning.

yeah welcome aboard. i was thinking LSJ.org for the website so everyone could come but since other cobalt models dont have the same name, i'll shut up. he he. oh get some dyno numbers, and some track time, wanna see that 1/4 mile run. so far i havnt seen any one on saturnfans forum run the 1/4 w/ the redline.

 

That's why we have forum for each specific engine/platform. So, I assume, the RL people will hang out in this one for the most part. (As far as tuning talk and such).

 

Honestly, it took a few days to get used to it. I was hitting the rev lim all the time because I was looking for the Tach through the steering wheel. I'm used it now and actually kinda like it.

The black is definitely slick!!!

I have a black one with single red penn stripe, red Saturn logo on the rear bumper and a small Redline badge aft on the front fenders.

It's a sharp looking vehicle.

And RedCavy..........I'm with ya. They do need a drop. Saturn should have dropped them another 1.5 to 2 inches IMHO. But that can always be done later. 8)

 

i agree, but they dont make any mods for it yet. i dont wanna throw just any springs on there yet :P

 

nice, needs a drop, smart not just puting n e spring on there, wait for a few options to come out.
