how do i properly launch my ss/sc?
sounds good man.. im gonna hold you to that lol
Technique for launching...
1. While stopped, put in first gear
2. With foot on clutch, push the gas pedal to the floor
3. Wait until engine is bouncing off the rev limiter
4. Take foot off clutch as quickly as possible
Have fun out there

Seriously though, I rolled off the clutch at idle. I launched hard, but still VERY smooth. My best 60' using this technique was 2.29. Any time I ever tried "dropping" the clutch from say 2000 rpm, it resulted in instant tire spin. After all my mods however I had little or no traction until halfway through second gear. Hench the best time of 14.1 @ 107 with a 60' of 2.45
Oh and launching using my technique must be good for the clutch, because my stock clutch after 11,000 miles of abuse still had little or no wear

basically control the throttle and clutch to the point right befor ur tires spin. you will feel when the tires grab and thats when you can get on it.
