How to get wire through the firewall and back to the tailights

I am preparing to wire my 2010 G5 so it can be flat towed behind my RV. I am having trouble finding out how to get the wires through the firewall and then through the vehicle to the trunk in order to hook the tail and brake lights to the RV. Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Thanks
Stan Lemon

if you get down near the pedals you will see a grommet with wires going through them. simply push the wire through that grommet and get it to feed from the other side

Dont know as i really havent ever wired anything on this platform. However, most vehicles will have some sort of grommets that they run all wiring through. Find it and it should be easy as pie.

cant you just wire it to ur rv and stick the magnet lights on ur trunk? just use painters tape to secure the wires?

When I put in my boost gauge on my Camry SC, I sent a boost tube from the engine through the boot at the bottom of the steering column. I used a coat hanger (sharpened at the tip) attatched to the small tubing and pushed through the rubber boot. From there you can route the wire under the carpets back through the trunk..whatever.

Thank you all for your help. I see the grommet in the firewall so I will pass the wires through there. Do I need to remove anything to get it under the carpet or can I fish it through? Thanks again.

you are going to have to remove the plastic panels and rear seats to route it properly. you might be able to fish it through if its some pretty stiff wire
