How are the high mileage SS/SC's holding up?

I'm at 105,000 currently. No oil consumption. Oil changed per OLM with Mobil-1 5W-30 and NAPA Gold oil filter. Everything else maintenance wise is done according to the schedule in the owners manual. Maybe a little sooner.

I assume you have fixed all of the probably suspension failures. Shocks, struts, CABs, etc.

Struts, Shocks and CAB's were done around 50k-ish. I also added Eibach Pro-Kit springs at that time.

If these cars aren't heavily modded and well maintained, they should last to 200k no problem.

Oh and a little luck.

105k

clutch and related at 60k
lca, tierods, and all related (front and rear) at 75k
timing tensioner at 90k
tires
brakes 2 times (rotors and pads)

honestly, it has been reliable as **** and never had a big or odd failure. All routine stuff.
and my car has been on GMSTG2 for the first 50k, Trifecta Stage 2 for about 20k, and a 2.9 with 60's for the rest of the time.

I swear the previous owner had to do a rebuild or something because this thing runs way too well for that many miles

Or its the cobalt from god

I know mine is not really considered high miles or at least not in my book, but the way mine runs I would trust it to drive to California and back no hesitation

I did the clutch because the crap LSJ TOB blew apart.
I did the suspension because I switched everything to MOOG greasable.
I did the LCA because I installed LNF control arms and solid CABs.

The only thing the car ever needed was a clutch. The rest was wants and maintaining it. My LSJ will see 200k if the new owner takes care of it like I have.

I'm at 72k and this is the 4th engine and 3rd transmission. But only because the original owner beat the car to death

Traded mine in back in December 2012 with 105K miles. Only thing I replaced were the brakes right before I traded her in. Everything else was perfect. Nothing else was wrong. Although, I did replace a couple bulbs that went out in the lights, but that's it. Oil change & filter, every 3500 to 5K miles.

My IRL hasn't been as problem free as my Toyota Echo was, and it's only at ~90k so far, but it's a very different car too.

194000 miles on mine, only stuff I changed was because I upgraded.
only major overhaul was last year at 165k miles did new cltuch, brembo brakes, lnf suspension, new control arms and powell cab's.
decided to change out the motor a few weeks ago, definitely didn't have to as it ran perfectly fine and I beat the **** out of it. motor looks like new internally just leaked a bunch of oil

Just over 86,000 miles

Only repair related issues ive had was the flex pipe on the downpipe replaced in the fist year I owned it.

I need to install the new CAB's I have.

Obviously preventative maintenance like oil changes, TB cleaning, etc..

Otherwise every change has been just because I wanted to (spark plugs, pads n rotors, intake (back to stock now)).

She's been good to me, but i like to think its cause I've been just as to to her!
