How to keep rodents out of vehicle during storage

Ok so my SS is going into the garage for storage this winter. I pretty much know how to store it based on searches i did here. Mainly i was concerned that mice or critters will get into the car and mess stuff up! how can i make sure they dont get into the interior. I heard dryer sheets would work and moth boths smell to much for interior. Anyone have any suggestions or what do you use??

You could install one of these......

Serious though, seal up every opening you can find (don't forget the heater inlet at the base of the windshield) and use dryer sheets, they work pretty good and, like you said, they don't smell near as bad as mothballs.
I would also scatter a few mothballs in the under hood area, I have dragged cars out of storage and discovered the little bastards have a taste for the wiring harnesses

Don't forget to pull the battery out, stick it inside where it is warm and NOT sitting directly on concrete, maybe throw a trickle charger on it once a month to keep it charged.
Bottle of fuel stabilizer in the tank (might be overkill but for the price? Cheap insurance imho) and plan on an oil change first thing in the spring.
If you can, get the tires off the concrete - car on jackstands if you have 4 of them.

Other than that, make sure it is clean before you put it away - inside and out. Mice will smell that 1/4" piece of cheezie that dropped under your seat and will chew through weather stripping to get at it.

I've heard putting bounty dryer sheets in the car keeps mice away -and makes it smell nice in the spring- I did it last winter and I'll be doing it again this winter. I also put them in the engine bay... just remember to get them all out. put steel whool in the exhaust tipto keep them out of there too.
