Does anyone know how to take the tint of the rear window?? I don't want to damage my defroster lines. Do you think I should just take my car to a tint shop and have them romove it? A place called infamous graphics near me quoted me 80 dollars just to remove the tint off the rear winodow.. I find that really high priced..

 

A good buddy of mine that races R/C cars with me, told me how to do it, and it works.

Get a garbage bag, and some simple green. Spray the Simple green liberally onto the garbage bag, and push the bag onto your tint, then let it bake in the sun for one hour. If it dries up, repeat the process. It comes off real easy, and at times, it came off like a gel.

P.S. You might have to tape the bag onto the window

 

and what glue remains, take windex™ w/ammonia 50% and 99% isopropyl alcohol 50%,
and a white scotch pad or a terry cloth rag and rub til it comes off. do not do this in the sun. do not use SOS pad, or razor blades.
