I didn't remove the headlights out when I did mine. On top in engine compartment there are a few push in screw clips. Under car the same. You will have to pull some of the same clips out from the inner wheel liner, easier with wheels removed. There are screws you need to remove once the liners are out, you will see these. Not that hard of a job once you start taking things out you will see what has to be done next.

Don't want to hijack *too* bad, but my other thread got ignored / lost in all the other posting.

I need to replace the rear bumper piece on my mom's LS Sedan. Someone parked into her only 10 days after she took it home and literally ripped a hole in the side of it, where there's no brace underneath. Anyone know where I can get that cheap as possible? I'm sure I can replace it myself.

Where the front bumper meets the fenders. There are (3) 10mm bolts, on both sides. Remove the bottom bolt completely and loosen the other two; they hold plastic clamp brackets in place. Then remove the top tab fasteners, and the two from the bottom. The area where you would replace your foglights there are (4) 7mm screws toi remove on each side. and (3) in each fender well. It is actually easier to do this by using a jackstands. You would never have to pull the wheels off. I will try and get some pics ASAP if needed

oh yea also you might want to look into a pick and pull type place for a wrecked cobalt.. but the odds of finding one are pretty slim

hmm, itll be tough to find one, i would contact some ppl on here that have body kits, and see if you can get their stock bumpers, that's what I did. I got really lucky!
