HP tuners?

Hey guys my car out of the blue is running SUPER rich... so rich that it actually stalls under high boost. I need to know how HP tuners works. I did a search and found nothing and went to the website but that didnt give me what i was looking for.

Is HPtuners an actual program that i can take to a tuning shop and have them use this tool to tune my car? Any information would be greatly appreciated please!

Hense why i said take it to the tuning shop....... Its a simple question, Is this a program or is it a canned hardware flash. And not to be an ass back but why would i not want to get a new tune so that my fuel doesnt wash the oil of my pistons and explode my engine?

It would be a very big waste to buy the software and let a shop do it, if a shop is not familiar with the program or ecotecs, then they wouldn't be able to work/tune it correctly. The best advice is to find someone locally that has some sort of experience tuning ecotecs with access to hptuners.
