so installed the software correctly. got the keycode. put it in. got my account with hptuners.com. went to link it to the car and for the life of me it will not link to the scanner.

just pops up with not found please make sure device is hooked up correctly.

ive reinstalled the software a couple times and tried linkin everything up and still dont get the device to be found. my usb port reconizes the box but cant install or link.

any help would be great

 

check the HPT forums. You'll get more help there. This is a pretty common issue, and they have a video walk through.

 

have you searched hptuners.com? that should have been your first try.

Also if you are on windows vista thats why. You need to reboot your pc and tap F8 and when it ask click disable driver signature then try it.

Yeah did you disable driver signature?
I run windows vista and I have to disable it every time I restart my pc so I can tune.
