guys keep in mind NC is on the east coast, STL is much more central.

 

haha I'd be there in a heartbeat if it were in Dallas, but I doubt thats a good place for the rest of the guys, especially since we have a bunch of east coasters.

If this were to happen, I'd nominate Dallas as the pre-meet place for Texans though. We could start a day early, all stay at the same hotel, then head out the next morning.

I get a week off from work plus a mid-year bonus in July so that would be good for me.

i can talk to gatway about reserving it and for those cheap people you guys can stay at my house. if it is in stl.

 

if we do this id say we make it go further. what we could do in addition to the meet is go when there is a NOPI or SEMA event going on. more NOPI cause thats a lot more fun. i think that one of those events, with all the fun stuff to do, and all us cobalts out there would be wicked tight. like make it a 2 day event if need be. everyone goes down for the meet on like friday or w/e and then sat is the NOPI event or sunday w/e the day may be. do u all understand what im saying?

anywho i think it would be a lot better. and if its a NOPI event when were done specking out our cars and talking we can either A. go check out the shows at NOPI OR B. if its NOPI theres gonna be a drag strip/road course so we can have some fun doin some races as well

I mean i just threw out the idea for something like this to happen....I think a centralized place would be fair to everyone which gives everyone a chance to come and not having to drive extra long to go....I would rather have someone else take over the planning because im pretty horrible at it and then we can ask our vendors to come along...I mean honestly get a bunch of vendors out there to bring cars and such with everything for our cars so we could purchase items while we are there

Also hell yah man redlines and a cobalt meet i mean we are all family of the LSJ so why not....And this meet shouldnt be subjective to only ss/sc or redlines....Im saying any cobalt and any saturn i mean **** why not...everyone is into cars why not bring it all out at once...

I mean i think this could be a huge thing you know?? People get tuned... Helped out on installing certain parts....I mean theres so much potential lets actually get started on this and not drop it because it would be a crazy ass time

Im down for sure. One of the reasons why Im excited about moving to VA because theyres more activity over there. I agree that it should be a weekend thing. I think it would be cool as well that one of the days, there could be a tech session at a nearby tuners house with a lift maybe. One of you tuners could make a mild tune for everyone...plz, lol.

 

 

Indy or Chi town is the best place!! read my previous post!! We should come up with like 3 central locations and then make a poll about it and vote, then when we have the exact location we can set a date and time and get it organized!!

 

STL or INDY, They are both about the same distance for me. Plus they both are centrally located.

 

Illinois, or Indiana, and it needs to be like a multi-day thing. Or Morning to night thing. This would be hella fun! Chicago FTW!!!

id love to do a huge Las Vegas Meet for all the members that are 21, it would work out nicely. Stay in a hotel, gamble, meet up, chill, eat, etc.

I favor Indy because it is very close to me. There are also options to go to events like Winged Warrior on May 12th, I know there is an import and truck bash in the summer every year and lets not forget the NHRA Nationals in September. I can also house some people who didnt want to find a hotel or needed a cheap stay. And if people wanted to camp out I could easily have room for 40+ people to stay. Indy also takes into account our neighbors up North (you know, the canadian ones!?!?!?) cuz we cant forget about them. I mean cmon there going to be home of one mean azz RWD cobalt (VictoryredSS) and Tag is from there also which have been doing awesome work on our cars.

Honestly the Winged Warrior III show is pretty cool, and we could all enter our cars into the show & shine and park together but that may be to early to plan something big because its in the middle of May.

We have to think of this in an Unbias way though which for me, St. Louis is the location which makes most since geographically. And I really like the idea of sub meets/convoys to get to the final location. For example Maryland guys/gals might meet with New York, and then meet up with the Pennsylvania folks, and then onto Ohio, and more and more would join the closer you got to St. Louis. I mean how cool would it be to see like 10-30 balts/ions rollin down the interstate and what not.

So my suggestons would be St. Louis or Indianapolis, Chicago or somewhere in Illinois.
