I am more than willing to help but that being said im a full time college student and work 25-30 hours a week. I can help organize get ideas together and find info but its going to take a few people to get this thing going and participation from the Vendors and mods would be essential.

Trying to think a little more in depth about things and getting people involved with planning heres a proposed to-do list if you will that I think would be somewhat organized, feel free to add things:
-Establish interest and organizers
-Obtain interest and information from Vendors and Mods
-Agree on location
-Agree on time
-Obtain appropriate info on location/travel/stay
-Confirm vendor attendance
-Set things in STONE and make a schedule
-Make any necessary arrangements for location/travel/stay
-Organize traveling groups/convoys
Im not sure what all goes into something like this but I know its a lot of work. Lets not drop the ball on this. Lets get some more ideas for location.

well what are the idea for the locations? we can start there by finding out what the best location is for everyone, even if it means starting a new poll to determine it!

were also going to have to realize that not everyone is going to make it regardless of time and location. For some people its going to be to far of a drive no matter where its held for others it will be a wedding, funeral, sports event, family event, vacation, etc... the same weekend. That being said we'll have to use a lot of polls to get the majority of opinions.

well i dropped a line over at the redline forum and started new threads in all the regional U.S. forums here. If someone wants to put something up on any other sites they can think of please do lets keep this rolling.
Also before this gets bigger any new polls or threads concerning decisions about the meet make sure you link them with a post in this thread so everyone can keep track

Ok i dont know about you all but i think it would be amazing to have more than the regular 40 or so cars come out to a meet...I think since we have such a wide variety of members on this site that we should pick a spot in the US over the summer say may or june or july to meet for a whole day straight....You know everyone gets to meet each other and 100+ cars come out to just chill, grill, and just kick back and relax
Now i no this requires alot of planning and alot of time and money to drive out to wherever the place might be....But a once yearly event where everyone of .NET meets would be wicked nice....Now idk bout you all but i think it is a good idea...Go ahead and throw your alls idea in on it by our poll and if you would show up by voting yes and if you wont by saying no

No if you wouldnt bother showing up because of the gas expense or not enough time

well, this is a different concept, and i'm just kinda throwing it out there...what if the east had a meet, and the west had a meet? then after we planned a lil more, and saw how good the turn-out was, then plan for the massive meet of east n west. Idk, just an idea. Because i'll be driving for atleast 12 hrs regardless. Hoorray for NY! lol. idk, make fun of me for my dumb idea.

I have also PM'ed several Vendors and let them know about the idea, lets see what they think. Any Vendors that would be up for coming/sponsoring please put a word in, it can only help.
