well considering i had i/h/e and was ******* it everyday for 100k, i think it was pretty good to me.

 

yeah...you'll never see more than a six-speed slush box for mass production...mostly b/c of reliability/driver issues. it'll be a "traditional" auto...i mean look at semi drivers, they have a lot of gears AND training...most people on the road can't even drive an auto and if they had to renew their licenses with driving tests wouldn't even b on tha road

for real, imagine trying to text, use GPS, carry on a conversation, put on make up, eat breakfast/lunch/dinner, and keep ur drink from spilling all while shifting an 8-speed manual

people would b suing manufacturers for causing them to total their car or pop their engines b/c of a mis-shift...how dare them add more gears!!!!

 

anyone find it odd hyundai now has a 5.0 as well. wonder if they may have purchased a few ford motars

BMWs have had a 5 litre for years...check out what they made it do in the '99 - ? M5...nothing like a ford 5.0 and i doubt the hyundai is "ford-based," just a similarity in displacement...EVEN FORD'S NEW 5.0 IS DIFFERENT FROM 80s/90s 5ohhhhhhhs
