last night my car alarm goes off. go outside dont see anybody. i inspect the car and find that they cut around my door hanldle to break the lock. They didnt get in but their is damge to to he door as well as the hadle. while doing this they also put a dent in the door. it makes me sooo madd.

 

call insurance company and be glad you have an alarm

I got broken into right in front of my house... completely f*cked the driver door and handle... it was brutal but it all worked out in the end, i hope it does for you too!!

 

Noone trys to break into my car, and have a 2000w power inverter, and my subs and amps in plain view

Yep... my car gets door dinged all the time, i've had it not even a year, it's got 2 bad door dings, through the paint. Someone has also hit the front passenger side with their tire (i assume it was a lifted truck or suv, because it left scratches and black marks all over the fender.

I make it a point to park around no other cars, but I swear, people park next to me, even out in the boonies of a parking lot, and then door ding me.

Doesn't sound like it's personal, sounds like they wanted to break into your car. That's what thieves do.

If it was personal, you would have had slashed tires or broken windows. It sounded like they had intent of breaking into your car.

yep. its prety bad. i proably need a whole new door the cut they made around the door is a litle less than an inch wide

 

locking your doors only keeps out honest people. I feel bad for all of you who live in shady neighborhoods. I can leave my windows down, and the doors unlocked and nothing ever happens to my car. once i left the keys in the ignition and went inside for like 4 hours and came back out and it was still there.

 

i live in a really good neighborhood. nor me or any of my neighbors have ever had this happen.
