Ice on inside of windshield

WTH causes this? I had to use an ice scraper on the inside of my car..... Between the dashboard melting in the summer and now this....im beginning to question the ****ing geniuses that GM hired.

If it's bad enough for him to use a scraper, I think he may have a legit gripe.

Dammit! I already blamed GM! Stupid responsibility. Question still remains, I had a good thick layer of ice covering the full windshield and half of the side windows. How does THAT MUCH MOISTURE get into my car? I have nothing in their and it hasn't been damp out. I grinded away for a good 5 minutes to clear everything. And then the whole thing fogged up. It was just weird as hell.

Sorry, but I never see any other cars ice up on the inside. Not my dads mdx, my grandmothers 90 protege or my friends neon. I can't even blame it on moisture on my shoes. The sidewalks are clear and dry since it hasn't snowed here in a few days.

I wonder if it's the sunroof. It rattles a little. Maybe the stripping is dried or loose? I will go out in the morning and the thing will be charcoal from random combustion.

lmao is it bad I thought that same thing?

On a serious note:
Is there snow on the ground?
How often does it rain?
How far do you normal drive? (And since this last happened?)
Does it only happen on one window?

Rough estimates would be great. Thanks

About 2-3in currently on the ground that is completely frozen since it hasnt been above 20 here in the past few days. Roads and everything are bare dry.

It hasnt rained at all in weeks.

Normal work day is about a half hr drive. So about 50 miles total to and from.

It has never happened before

It happened to the front windshield. (completely) and both side windows (half on both)

welcome to cold temps....

Up here its common.. Suggestion...

When getting out of the vehicle... keep the door open alittle so all the hot air leaves the vehicle.. Thats why you got such thick FROST on the inside.. All the heat + cold outside + whatever moisture = frosted inside windows

Just think of it as a free tint job.
