Freezing rain for the win, That just happend to me, I started scraping then windows, but it was so thick I had to run and get some hot water to melt it. I was laughing so hard my car was frozen solid.

i can see u styll have ur original rim and tires on..hmm cobalts are sleds in the winter ...well from my experience anyways...time to change to sum winters no?

Definetly if you have the Pirelli's. The Continentals arent to bad but its good to have a good snow tire on a econobox

Then peeling your wipers off the windsheild . Mines out 24/7 We got the ice last night , supposed to get up to foot of snow over the next couple days off the lake . Lake effect snow sucks ***** .

Why is ice so bad for the paint? I haven't noticed any problems with the paint and this is the 2nd winter it will be going through out doors.
I didn't know the weather was going to be freezing rain. Not that i could have done anything about it.
My cobalt doesn't have the luxury of a warm garage... or even a cold one for that matter.
I rent where the driveway and garage are always used by the owners.

Im in Oshawa Ontario... still nasty to drive here. I can't afford snow tires right now, so i drive like an old lady.

Makes the e-brake fun when no body is around though!
