If the money was available....

would it be a better buy to purchase a SS/TC or a SS/SC and mod? I'm sure this topic has been discussed before and is more of a matter of opinion but was looking for some answers from those who know. If the funds were there, would it be better to find a TC for around $15k or find a SC for around $9k-$10k and go to stage 2 or 3 with exhaust work and a tune? I know the mod bug will bite me after I buy and I don't think I could wait out the warranty on a TC. I wouldn't have to do that with a SC but it also starts out with less HP and would need a lot more mods to reach the same desired level. Let me know.

Turbo LSJ will be more work, but can make more maximum power. However, if you don't plan on breaking 550 whp, get the TC.

well you could do that with a TC with just a tune. No problem. Trust me though, you'll want more, everyone does.

What tune won't void the warranty besides the GM Stage 1?

Oh right, I forgot you wanted warranty if you got the TC. Well GMS1 should put you around 260 to the wheels.

and you could always do K&N Typhoon to give you a couple more and still have warranty.

Didn't know they had stage 2 and 3 for the TC and their stage kits are more expensive than say zzp kits.

insylem was talking about the stage 2 and 3 for the lsj, and the stage 3 is for off road use only so it would not be warrantied.

When you take into account everything you'd have to upgrade on the LSJ to make it on par overall with the LNF, you're better off just starting off with the LNF.

Find a nice SS/SC and have ZZP throw their turbo kit on it....... it will cost about the same as buying a SS/TC.
